ESF mentor Raizi Chechik has been named the founding director of Yeshiva University’s new Pava Center for Women’s Torah Scholarship, a groundbreaking $10 million initiative funded by Ann and Jeremy Pava of Micah Philanthropies to cultivate the next generation of women scholars, educators, and leaders in the Jewish community.

Our inaugural ESF fellow, Miriam Zami and two of our ESF mentors, Tammy Jacobowitz & Sara Tillinger Wolkenfeld were featured in “Learning from the Stories of Adult Jewish Learners,” a publication by the Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education at Brandeis University, which is a culmination of the work of the MCSJE Adult Jewish Working Group.
